Here is my "go to" recipe for both salads and as a delicious dip for a relish tray...my home made bleu cheese dressing! Give it a try...and please don't try to lighten this one up with light mayo and light sour cream. Sometimes you just have to go for the real thing...and I think this is one of those times!
Ingredients
- 1 cup crumbled blue cheese (or Gorgonzola)
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon coarse Kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (or to
taste)
