Last night's topic was SOUPer Fall Seasonal Soups, and I hope my students enjoyed their cooking class as much as I enjoyed teaching it.
We started with a brief review of kitchen hygiene, knife choices, safety tips, and dicing techniques... and soon these potatoes, carrots, onions and celery were swimming in a beefy soup hot tub of flavor! We also made one of my favorite Fall soups...Butternut Squash...I also surprised the class with some garlic cheese bread, laced with fresh herbs from my herb garden.
I'll be adding these recipes to my blog, so look in the SOUPS section.
Don't you love a class where you can EAT your homework!!!???
